Bailey (4-4) struck out eight and allowed just one unearned run and four hits over eight innings to beat Chicago for the second time this season and improve to 7-2 all-time against the Cubs. Phillips had an RBI single in the first and blasted his fifth career grand slam in the third. He knocked in another run with a groundout in the eighth.

Chapman, now 3-2 with a 3.32 ERA this season, has allowed three homers in 19 innings to date. 2B Brandon Phillips singled in the eighth inning Sunday to extend his hitting streak to seven games. Phillips, 1-for-4 in the game, is hitting .300 during the streak.
