Football: Miura betters J-League oldest goal record

A former Japan international bettered his own record as the oldest goal scorer ever in the J-League after hammering home a shot just 16 seconds into a game. Kazuyoshi Miura, nicknamed "King Kazu", hit a half volley into the net as he led Yokohama FC to a 3-1 victory over Tochigi SC in Japan's second division on Wednesday. On the day, Miura was 46 years, four months and seven days old, beating his own record by more than a year.
