C/1B Carlos Santana is expected to play at least a month of winter ball as a third baseman. With the emergence of Yan Gomes as the everyday catcher, the Indians are considering the possibility of moving Santana to third base. Santana was originally signed as a third baseman by the Dodgers in 2004. "Carlos is athletic, has good hands and a phenomenal arm. It's just a matter of getting him re-acclimated to third base," general manager Chris Antonetti said.
